LAVELLE LAW CHARITIES ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
The Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive was another success this year! The 13th annual Palatine Food Drive and the 7th annual Arlington Heights Food Drive ran October 3 through November 17. Both Food Drives are important contributors to the Palatine Township Food Pantry and the Wheeling Township Food Pantry, which service hundreds of families each month. Thank you to all the many neighbors in the Palatine and Arlington Heights community who donated to our Annual Food Drive. We also thank all the local businesses and community organizations listed below, who graciously housed our collection boxes throughout October and November.

HISTORY of the FOOD DRIVE
With the help of clients and friends, Lavelle Law Charities launched the Palatine Food Drive in 2004 to benefit those in need in Palatine Township. Through their donations and financial support, drop-off locations throughout the community were established where local residents could donate non-perishable foods.
The community responded so generously that the Palatine Township Food Pantry needed to secure additional storage space to hold the donations. The Palatine Food Drive has since become an annual event, serving the constant need to combat hunger in our community.
In 2010, Lavelle Law Charities expanded its efforts by introducing the Arlington Food Drive, which assists the Wheeling Township Food Pantry. While we have been pleased to receive several awards for our efforts on behalf of the community, we are primarily pleased with the way in which both Food Drives unite our employees, families, clients, and the community to help those in need during and after the holiday season.
