Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive - 2022
October 4 – October 28
Our goal every year is to help bring food, dignity, and hope to Schaumburg Township residents in need by hosting an annual food drive benefiting the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. Serving over 800 families a month, the Food Pantry directly impacts residents at risk of hunger in Schaumburg Township, including parts of Schaumburg, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Roselle, and Streamwood.
The 2022 Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive ran from October 4, 2022, through October 28, 2022. As it has for 18 years, the Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive collected nonperishable food items, paper goods, and personal care items at various collection sites around the community. The success of our food drive was made possible by the generosity of community members, local businesses, residents, Lavelle Law employees, and corporate sponsors.
THANK YOU!
“The Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive makes a particular impact this year as we have seen an incredible increase in food pantry appointments. As soon as we get food in, it is headed out the door to a family in need. We appreciate Lavelle Law’s dedication to our community and share our deepest gratitude. They are truly making a difference.” - Schaumburg Township Supervisor Tim Heneghan
In challenging and often divisive times, we at Lavelle Law strongly believe that social responsibility requires more than a corporate statement. As a leading law firm in the Chicago area, we strive to improve the communities in which we live and work. That is why we have tackled social issues like hunger and poverty since our inception. For nearly two decades, we have hosted the Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive each holiday season generating truckloads of donations for those in need. Many attorneys on our staff provide pro bono services through various legal aid organizations to those who cannot afford quality representation. Additionally, many of us serve as board members or are active volunteers and donors to a wide range of charitable organizations that improve the lives of individuals and families facing personal, professional, educational, physical, financial, and emotional challenges. Through our foundation, Lavelle Law Charities, we are proud and active contributors of time and financial support to many charitable institutions. We have received numerous awards for our commitment to service including the national Beacon of Justice Award presented by the National Legal Aid & Defender Association.
